About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a position in Denison, Iowa. The start date is ASAP and the duration is 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week, working 8-hour shifts during the day.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
- Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities to promote functional independence.
- Document patient progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Experience in a rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
- Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
