About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 26-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026, in Portland, Oregon.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac cath lab procedures including adult diagnostic caths, left & right heart caths, PCI/cardiac stent placement, IABP & Impella, temporary pacemaker, rotablator atherectomy, dysrhythmia interpretation.
- Assist with scrubbing, circulating, and sterile technique.
- Set up equipment and perform access site preparation.
- Use PACS and manifold (non-ACIST).
- Interpret echocardiograms and other imaging studies.
- Chart using Epic, if required.
- Manage RTO (Right Ventricular Tachycardia) within 7 days, with no RTOs during the first 2 weeks.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year Cath Lab Tech experience; scrub experience required (1st assist preferred).
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT(R) certifications.
- Active Oregon OBMI license or proof of application + fingerprinting.
- Patient-facing experience preferred.
- Experience with medical billing and coding is a plus.

- Knowledge of cardiac cath lab procedures.
- Ability to interpret echocardiograms and other imaging studies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
