About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Metairie, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Covering Invasive Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Vascular modalities
- Performing procedures such as stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral upper and lower extremity studies, abdominal and pelvic studies, vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Using primary equipment including a Philips single-plane system; Siemens and bi-plane experience preferred
- Working in a cardiac cath lab setting
- Operating Epic EMR system
- Handling Philips single-plane equipment
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Cath Lab experience, 3 years preferred
- ARRT or RCIS certification required
- Current BLS required
- Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable
- Experience with stents, ablations, paracentesis, peripheral vascular studies, venous access, and hemodynamic monitoring required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Philips single-plane equipment experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
Qualifications
Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates.

Pay
Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
