Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,876 per week

About the Role

The Cath Lab Technologist will work in an inpatient and outpatient procedural lab environment focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and intervention for cardiac patients in the upstate New York region. The facility includes 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs, serving both adult and pediatric patients with a wide range of conditions. The role involves collaboration with RN staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 08/17/2026
• 40 hours per week
• Shift options:
  • 10-hour days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 4x10 schedule)
  • 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 3x12 schedule)

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures in Cath and EP labs, including:
  • Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics
  • Cardiac Interventions (CTO, PCI)
  • Pericardiocentesis
  • Vascular Interventions
  • RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
  • Structural Heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, ASA)
  • Device and Ablation procedures (EP Lab experience preferred)
• Provide Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD)
• Assist with pre- and post-procedural care in the holding area
• Collaborate with RN staff to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Requirements

• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Moderate sedation training
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience
• Critical care or cardiac experience
• Must have experience with:
  • TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman procedures
  • Mechanical Circulatory Support (ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, LVAD)
• Nice to have:
  • Cardiovascular certification (RCES preferred)
  • EP Lab experience
