About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Carmichael, California.
Responsibilities
- Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms
- Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
- Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab
- Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab
- Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Requirements
- BLS, CCI (RCIS), 2 Years of experience
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
Qualifications
- Preparation of the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms
- Preparation of patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures
- Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab
- Manning the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms
- Monitoring the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab
- Participation in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Skills
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
Benefits
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
