Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,727 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Carmichael, California. This role involves 40 hours per week with 10-hour day shifts, starting September 1, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
• Assist in performing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Maintain high-level patient care by communicating with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
• Function under the direction and immediate supervision of the cardiologist/radiologist during procedures.
• Operate ancillary equipment and anticipate/obtain necessary inventory (catheters, wires, medications) as ordered by the cardiologist.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations, as well as accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver cost-effective, timely, compassionate, and quality patient care while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Promote national patient safety initiatives.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
