Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,613 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Burlingame, California.

Responsibilities

• Operate the fluoroscopic equipment
• Assist physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures
• Prepare and observe patients undergoing the procedure
• Monitor patient during all procedures
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Interpret examination requests accurately
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
• Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

• BLS, ARRT (VI), ACLS, 2 Years

Skills

• Knowledge of radiation protection standards
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Burlingame, CA. The right IR Tech should have 1 year of recent acute care experience.
