About the role
LanceSoft is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting August 17, 2026, in Rockville, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care activities and procedures accurately in medical records.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure successful outcomes.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT certifications required.
- MD license or equivalent required, or ARRT certification with IR experience.
- 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
- Must be available for weekend call, responding to STEMI calls within 30 minutes of activation.
- Will not require floating between units.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a formal training program in cardiac catheterization technology preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or clinic setting preferred.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
