About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 26-week assignment starting September 13, 2026 in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Preparing the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock is available and in working condition, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
- Prepping patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures by preparing site of entry, draping patient, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and calibrating and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
- Operating and ensuring the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
- Operating-hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers and digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
- Recording hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
- Manning the cardiac cath lab during procedures, assisting the physician in maneuvering catheters.
- Maintaining patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
- Participating in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Standing and walking for long periods of time, bending, leaning, and stooping without difficulty.
Requirements
- BLS, ACLS, CCI (RCIS), 2 Years of experience.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Qualifications
- BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) -CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
- State specific licensing when required.
Skills
- Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

- Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
