Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,517 per week

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Prestonsburg, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Table panning
• Scrubbing diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• Aid with: Shockwave, Intra-aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), Impella, EKOS, Penumbra, ACIST contrast injector
• Aid with device implants: Single-, dual-, and biventricular pacemakers, Implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs)
• Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Cross-training in EP procedures (ablations) available
• Physicians perform both radial and femoral (groin) access procedures

Requirements

• 2+ years of Cath Lab experience
• ARRT certification required
• Kentucky license required
• Candidates without a KY license will be considered if they apply immediately upon accepting the offer
• AHA BLS and AHA ACLS required
• Must be willing to float within scope of practice

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• One rotating weekday off each week

Call Requirements

• 8–15 call days per month
• 1 weekend on call every 3 weeks
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) alerts

Call Team

• 2 Registered Nurses
• 1 Radiologic Technologist

Department

• 2 Cath Labs
• Rotation through the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Approximately 8–10 procedures per day
• 6–8 STEMI cases per month
