Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,510 per week

About the role

The Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist assists physicians during invasive cardiac and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures. The technologist is responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, operating specialized cardiac equipment, monitoring patient hemodynamics, and supporting advanced circulatory devices, including Impella and intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
• Operate specialized cardiac equipment.
• Maintain hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Support advanced circulatory devices such as Impella and IABP.
• Assist with invasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years of experience required in Cardiac Cath lab.
• Permanent pacemaker placement experience is preferred.
• Usage of Impella and ballon pump required.
• Mac lab experience is preferred, EPIC.
• Preferred Scrub Color Green.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Strong experience assisting with invasive cardiac procedures.
• Experience with Impella and Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) is required.
• Experience with permanent pacemaker placement is preferred.
• Mac-Lab experience.
• EPIC electronic medical record experience.

Skills

• Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory experience.
• Hemodynamic monitoring.
• Sterile procedural technique.
• Cardiac rhythm recognition.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office/Google Suite).
