About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care facility in Rockford, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for cardiac and neuro interventional cases
- Using Epic EMR and McKesson equipment
- Learning circulating/monitoring for neuro interventional cases for call coverage
- Working in an acute care Level 1 trauma cardiac cath lab setting with 6 suites/labs
- Handling an average of 18 cases per day
- Working 5 shifts of 8 hours per week, with 0700 or 0830 start times as assigned
- Floating to EP/IR units as needed
- Responding to calls within 30 minutes, including 4 weekends (Sat/Sun) within the 13-week assignment and holiday call
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years cath lab experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA)
- ARRT certification with Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) credential required
- Experience scrubbing and circulating high-risk coronary interventions and STEMI cases required
- Willingness to learn circulating/monitoring for neuro interventional cases for call coverage
- Active state license required for consideration, if applicable
- Epic EMR experience preferred

- Passes a negative drug screen for all panels

Pay
The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
