About the Role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract position in O'Fallon, Illinois, starting on 09/21/2026. This role involves providing technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team and ensuring high-quality patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, safe, competent, and quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab (CCL).
- Assist in performing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Communicate with patients, families, and physicians to address physical, general, and psychosocial needs.
- Operate ancillary equipment and prepare necessary inventory and medications during procedures.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and legible patient records.
Requirements
- Current License in good standing.
- Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- Two years of Cath Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience in a critical care setting and be able to function under the direction of cardiologists/radiologists during procedures.
