Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cath Lab Technologist to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, focusing on interventional cardiology, structural heart procedures, and peripheral vascular cases.

Unit Information: Number of Suites/Labs: 4. Average Cases per Day: 10-15.

Responsibilities

• Scrubbing for various procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Monitoring patients throughout the procedures.
• Operating equipment, including EMR systems such as Epic and Merge.

Qualifications

• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is preferred.
• Previous experience and competence in the Cath Lab environment.

Schedule

• Full-time shifts: 4x10s or 5x8s.
• Weekday and weekend call requirements.
• Holiday call requirements may also apply.
• Supervisor manages the schedule; self-scheduling is not available.

Orientation & Training

New employees will undergo department-specific orientation for three shifts to ensure a smooth transition into the role.

Additional Information

• Floating to other procedural areas may be required based on patient census.
• Dress code: Scrubs are provided for all staff.
