About the role
Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Sioux City, Iowa.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs, ensuring its proper functioning and safety.
- Document patient care activities and procedures accurately.
- Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist from a recognized organization.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good interpersonal skills.
