Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,226 per week

About the role

Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 12-week assignment starting ASAP in Akron, Ohio. The position offers 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts, and benefits including holiday pay, a 401k retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
• Operate and monitor equipment used in catheterization procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure in stressful situations.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist preferred.
• Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
• Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
