Job Summary
Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technician in Brighton, Colorado. This role involves providing technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures within the cardiac catheterization laboratory. The position requires assisting physicians, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety and education throughout the procedures.
Job Details
- Provide technical support during invasive cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
- Support patient care under the supervision of registered nurses.
- Assist physicians in radiological imaging of cardiac and vascular procedures, acting as a scrub assistant to maintain sterile conditions.
- Operate imaging equipment and monitor, document, and control procedure images and events.
- Educate patients and families regarding pre- and post-procedure physical conditions and expectations.
- Maintain unit cleanliness, proper stock levels, and complete accurate documentation of daily activities, progress, and discharge.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and safety hazard mitigation.
- Promote mission, vision, and service standards of the organization.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support clinical operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Registered ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist (RCIS) certification within 18 months of hire, or a Radiologic Technologist with CV-specific certification, RCIS, or RCES.
- BLS (American Heart Association).
- Current ACLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Fluoroscopy Certification.
- Radiation badges supplied by the vendor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience in Cardiology or Cath Lab setting.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
