Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $3,112 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Prepare the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms and ensure adequate stock is available and in working condition.
• Prep patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, including site of entry preparation, drape arrangement, and instrument calibration.
• Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab.
• Monitor patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Cardiovascular Interventions (C) certification (ARRT-R).
• BLS, ACLS, and ARRT-CI preferred or CCI-RCIS certification.
• State-specific licensing when required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work long shifts (8 hours, days).
• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Skills

• Knowledge of all related equipment within the laboratory.
• Experience scrubbing in during procedures.
• Ability to operate and monitor various medical equipment.

Benefits

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
