About the role
PRN Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Metairie, Louisiana.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization labs.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and report any changes to the physician.
- Prepare and maintain catheterization lab equipment and supplies.
Requirements
- Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Excellent communication skills.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
