Travel Cath Lab Technologist - $2,906 per week

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during invasive procedures, including but not limited to angioplasty, stenting, and coronary artery bypass grafting.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and preparing equipment.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain accurate medical records.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field.
• Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic health record (EHR) software.

• Proficient in operating cardiac catheterization equipment.
