About the Role
Travel Cath Lab Technologist position in Birmingham, Alabama at Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital. This is an 8-week contract with a projected start date of 09/07/2026, offering 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment, including Philips imaging/panning systems.
- Assist with procedures involving IABP, Impella, Laser, and Shockwave technologies.
- Work with EMR systems: Merge Hemo / Cerner (transitioning to Epic in August 2026).
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
- RCIS certification (preferred but not required).
Pay
Weekly gross pay: $2,800, including a stipend of $1,442 and W2 earnings of $1,358.
