Vibra Travels is seeking a Cath Lab Tech/Interventional Radiology Tech to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We’re looking for dependable, detail-focused interventional radiology techs with experience in hospital settings.
About the role
13-week travel assignment in Warrenton, Virginia. 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
- Accurately position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to radiation protection protocols.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT scanners, and ultrasound machines, to obtain high-quality images.
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies, and by maintaining a sterile environment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media under the direction of a physician, following established protocols.
- Evaluate images for technical quality and ensure proper archiving in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).
- Monitor patients during procedures, observing for any complications or unusual events, and report findings to the physician.
- Scrub for cardiac cath procedures.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification.
- Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment.
- Two years of recent experience in a hospital setting.
- State Fluoroscopy license where applicable.
- Current, valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation.
- Recent acute care experience for acute care and LTAC placements.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor (AHA preferred; required by some clients).
- ACLS may be required by some clients.
- Minimum of 1 year experience scrubbing for cardiac cath procedures.

Pay
