About the role
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CCL TECH) assists invasive cardiologists, interventional radiologists, and vascular surgeons in performing interventional procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. Responsibilities include preparing patients, monitoring hemodynamic measurements, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining procedural supplies. This position requires a strong focus on patient safety, radiation protection, and effective collaboration with medical staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in performing interventional procedures
- Share responsibilities in imaging acquisition and equipment operation
- Participate in cross-training in all aspects of the Cardiac Catheterization and Interventional Radiology Lab
- Maintain certification and licensure
- Educate patients and families about procedures and treatments
Requirements
- Accredited School of Radiology
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
- ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- ARRT – Radiology Technician License or ARRT-CT – Certified in Computed Tomography (preferred)
- CRT required
Float rotation may be required.
Schedule
- Day shifts, 10 hours per day
- Minimum of 40 hours per week
- Assignment duration: 13 weeks (September 6, 2026 – December 5, 2026)
