About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Austin, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Assist with interventional procedures such as PCI and peripheral procedures.
- Manage patient flow and assist in the preparation of patients for procedures.
- Operate and monitor cardiovascular invasive equipment.
- Document patient care activities using the EMR system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.
Requirements
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Current registration as a Registered Cardiographic Technician (RCT).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized training program in cardiology technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

- Proficiency in operating cardiovascular invasive equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
