About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in The Woodlands, Texas.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of equipment used in the catheterization laboratory
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergencies
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Cath Lab Technologist in the state of Texas
- Experience in performing diagnostic catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized training program in cardiac catheterization technology
- Passing scores on relevant certification exams
Skills
- Proficiency with medical equipment and technology
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients
