The travel Cath Lab Technologist position is available in Pontiac, Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization laboratories
- Document patient data accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and successful outcomes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Current registration/certification as a Cath Lab Technologist
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Skills
- Proficient in operating cardiac catheterization lab equipment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to handle stressful situations
