About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment starting on August 9, 2026, in Portland, Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
  • Operate and maintain equipment used in cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Document patient data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
  • Current American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification or equivalent.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Skills

  • Proficient in using medical equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
