Travel Cath Lab Technician - $2,722 per week

About the role

Access Healthcare is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Middleburg, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate equipment used in cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
• Document patient care activities and procedures accurately.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current Registered Cardiac Interventions Specialist (RCCIS) certification or equivalent.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience in a similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including rotating nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Ability to meet weekend and holiday requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a formal training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency with cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
