Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,981 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role starts on August 17, 2026, and lasts 13 weeks with a 48-hour work week.

About the role

This is a travel position for a Cath Lab Technologist (Radiology) in a cardiac catheterization lab setting. The role involves 12-hour day shifts and requires experience with a variety of cardiac procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including:
  • Cardiac Implant Closure Device
  • Cardiac Stent Placement
  • Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult)
  • IABP Placement/Removal
  • Left heart catheterization
  • Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)
  • Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA)
  • Right heart catheterization
  • Rotablader athrectomy
  • Scrub Procedures
• Interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias
• Set up and manage equipment for procedures
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including isolation precautions and sterile technique
• Demonstrate age-specific competencies for middle and older adults
• Use Cerner charting system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Diagnostic or Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Active certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, RCIS
• Active license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Experience with the following procedural skills:
  • Equipment setup
  • Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during the assignment.
