Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,716 per week

About the Role

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist to support invasive cardiology procedures in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a 15-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week, flexible 8-hour shifts, and one opening available.

Schedule

• Variable rotating schedule:
• Week 1: Monday–Friday, day shift 0700–1530
• Week 2: Monday–Friday, call coverage 1530–0700 plus Saturday–Sunday 0700–0700
• 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Call coverage weeks do not include on-call or call-in pay

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing patients and procedure rooms for cath lab procedures
• Scrub for procedures and monitor and record hemodynamic pressures
• Address health education needs for patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Manage patient care assignments and organizational tasks related to unit operations
• Apply knowledge of growth and development principles in patient interactions

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Current BLS certification required
• One of the following certifications required: RCIS, ARRT(VI), or RTRCI
• License required if applicable
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
