About the role

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including administering medications and positioning them appropriately.
• Operate and monitor equipment used during procedures.
• Document patient data accurately and maintain medical records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Cath Lab Technologist in Alaska.
• Experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory setting.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited training program in cardiac catheterization technology.
• Current CPR certification.

Schedule

Shifts are 10 hours, days, with 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
