Travel Cath Lab Tech - $3,085 per week

About the role

Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Roseburg, Oregon. This full-time, travel position offers 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility: scrubbing all cases tableside with the physician, with potential to circulate cases
• Function as both circulator and scrub tech, including groin management
• Set up sterile tables and scrub for various procedures, including:
  • Coronary angiogram/interventions
  • STEMI cases
  • Peripheral angiogram/intervention
  • Thrombectomies
  • Multitude of IR cases
  • Device implants

Requirements

• Required certifications: Rad Tech, RCIS, or ARRT (CI) or (CV) (RCIS accepted in lieu of ARRT for travelers)
• Experience with:
  • Coronary and peripheral angiogram/interventions
  • STEMI cases
  • Thrombectomies
  • IR cases
  • Device implants

Unit Details

• 3 suites/labs
• 5-10 cases per day on average
• Common diagnoses/types of patients:
  • PCI/Diagnostic Caths
  • Device implants
  • Peripheral/IR cases (e.g., IVC filters)
• EMR/Equipment: McKesson/GE equipment

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or 4/10s (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Weeknight call: 1-2 nights per week (from end of shift until 6:30 AM)
• Weekend call: Every 3rd or 4th weekend (from end of shift Friday until Monday 6:30 AM)
• Holiday call: 1 major holiday and 1 holiday weekend per year
