Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,730 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia, starting September 28, 2026. The position involves 36 hours per week with 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic cardiac Cath lab procedures
• Interventional cardiac Cath lab procedures
• Cardiac implant closure device procedures
• Cardiac stent placement
• Diagnostic catheterizations for adults
• IABP placement and removal
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Left heart catheterization
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA)
• Maintaining sterile field and sterile technique
• Scrub and equipment setup
• Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
• Adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active West Virginia license or Compact License (pending license accepted for submission but must be active to start)
• Permanent address must be at least 100 miles from the facility; candidates 75–100 miles away may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references required from the past 2 years
• Not eligible if a current employee of Vandalia Health System or if previous permanent employment ended less than 2 years ago

Preferred Qualifications

• Charting system experience required; experience with Cerner preferred

• Shift: 12-hour days
