Travel Cath Lab Tech - $2,645 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Kingsport, Tennessee. This position requires 40 hours per week on a 10-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and functionality, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site preparation, patient draping, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
• Operate and maintain quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, with knowledge of all related laboratory equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physicians in maneuvering catheters.
• Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers, as well as digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
• Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
• Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) (CI preferred) or CCI-RCIS, and state-specific licensing when required.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

ARRT, ACLS, BLS, and CCI (RCIS) are required, with at least 2 years of experience preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
