Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab work setting
1:1 patient ratio
4x10 hour day shifts, approximately 7:00 AM to 5:30/6:00 PM
Schedule includes routine Sunday cases as part of the standard 4x10 rotation
Requires 1 call shift per week and 1 call weekend within a 5-week period
Requires 1 late stay shift per week
May float to other qualified units or campuses based on facility census needs
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac cath lab required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- ARRT-R certification required (license required if applicable)
- SCRQSA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, dysrhythmia interpretation, laser-assisted procedures, left and right heart catheterization, OCT, PCI, PTCA, permanent pacemaker insertion, PA line insertion, rotablator atherectomy, temporary pacemaker, TAVR, ventricular assist device insertion, and Watchman procedures
- Ability to scrub and maintain a sterile field during procedures
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use
