A travel cath lab tech radiology/cardiology position is available in Salem, VA.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic catheterization procedures under the supervision of a physician.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for catheterization procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in catheterization procedures.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with medical terminology and charting systems (Meditech).

Skills

• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization techniques.
• Basic understanding of medical imaging and diagnostics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
