About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina. This position requires 40 hours per week, working 10-hour day shifts on a travel employment basis.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms by ensuring adequate stock and working condition of supplies, including instrument sterilization if applicable.
  • Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures: site preparation, patient draping, arranging sterilized instruments and catheters, and setting up pressure transducers and tubing.
  • Operate and maintain quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, with knowledge of all related laboratory equipment.
  • Scrub in during procedures, assisting physicians in maneuvering catheters.
  • Obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data by operating hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers, digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures.
  • Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • CCI (RCIS) certification; ARRT (R) -CI preferred.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand, walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
