Travel Cath Lab RN

Responsibilities

• Assess patients pre-procedure, assist with positioning, and ensure proper placement of EKG electrodes and leads
• Support physicians during cardiac procedures, including catheter placement, device deployment, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate and troubleshoot hemodynamic equipment, monitor vital signs, ECG, and patient recovery post-procedure
• Maintain cath lab equipment, ensure safety protocols, and communicate effectively with team members, patients, and families
• Support post-procedure care and facilitate smooth patient transitions
• Perform other duties within scope of practice as assigned

Requirements

• One-year recent experience as a Cath Lab RN
• Valid RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and adhere to safety standards
• Proficiency in PC use and understanding of cardiac care procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS or ENPC certification
• RCIS certification
