Travel Cath Lab RN - $2,958 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced travel nurse RN to join the Invasive Cardiology unit in York, Pennsylvania. This 13-week contract position involves working in a unit featuring 4 dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Labs, 3 dedicated Electrophysiology labs, and 2 shared cath/EP labs, with 33 prep/recovery bays. The RN will be involved in advanced cardiovascular treatments, including complex coronary procedures, ventricular assist devices (VAD)/ECMO, and various structural heart procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and monitor care of patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
• Administer medications and manage IVs, including blood product administration and emergency medications.
• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations and electrophysiology procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide patient education and support to patients and families surrounding procedures and recovery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a cardiology or critical care setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Must be able to care for COVID patients if required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.

Schedule

• Day shift - will work either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts between the hours of 6 AM - 7 PM, with weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to stay until the last patient is cared for.
• Call required with a 30-minute response time.
