Travel Cath Lab RN - $2,127 per week

About the role

We're looking for Cardiac Cath Lab RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Beaufort, SC. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies effectively.
• Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization as a way to diagnose heart conditions or as a treatment.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
• Stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Easily lift 20 pounds; moving or lifting of patients may require lifting up to 50 pounds at times.
• Possess good skills for coping with stress and be able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds in a fast‑paced environment.

Requirements

• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years as noted)
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 9‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Duration: 13 weeks; 36 hours per week; shift: 9 hours, days.
