About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath Lab team in Greenwood, South Carolina. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Cath Lab settings and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures, with the ability to perform diagnostic catheterizations and administer procedural sedation. This is a 13-week contract travel position with a day shift schedule (07:30 - 16:00, 5x8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations.
• Administer IV medications and monitor patients during procedures.
• Assist with procedures involving activated clotting time (ACT) and cardiac stent placements.
• Maintain compliance with infection prevention and safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy and Radiology.
• Participate in call rotations, approximately every 3rd week.
• Float within the hospital or between affiliate hospitals as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiac settings.
• Current RN license to practice in South Carolina.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
