Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - $2,987 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for a day‑shift cardiac cath lab assignment in Brownwood, Texas. The Cardiac Cath Lab unit performs left/right heart catheterization, PCI, device placement, renal, and peripheral procedures. Assignment details: day shift, 5×8 hours (6:00 AM–2:30 PM), 40 hours per week, start date November 2, 2026, length 13 weeks, call requirement 12‑15 days per month.

Responsibilities

• Perform left and right heart catheterization
• Conduct percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI)
• Place devices including stents and permanent/temporary pacemakers
• Carry out renal and peripheral procedures
• Apply EKG lead placement
• Assist with thrombolysis/thrombectomy, neurological studies, and abdominal/pelvic procedures

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab service line
• ARRT or RCIS certification accepted
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• CCI RCES, CCI RCIS, or CET certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Travel experience strongly preferred
• Compliance with facility onsite drug screen (including marijuana testing)
• Local candidates accepted up to 50 miles for Allied positions
• Previous permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer or provide a completion plan
• Submit hard documents by Thursday at 2:00 PM CST prior to start (with flexibility if communicated in advance)

Skills

• Skilled in left/right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion, stent placement, and EKG lead placement
• Experience with thrombolysis/thrombectomy, neurological studies, and abdominal/pelvic procedures preferred
• X‑Ray skills required
• Altera charting system experience preferred (not required)
