Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac stepdown care to patients under the supervision of a licensed professional.
• Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of West Virginia.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience in cardiac stepdown care preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent acute care experience.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR).

$18.50 - $20.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Day/Night Rotate 12 hr day/night rotate, weekends as scheduled.
