Travel Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse - $2,050 per week

About the role

This position is for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Cardiovascular Registered Nurse (RN) in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The role involves providing specialized care for cardiac procedure patients on an 18‑bed interventional care unit. The RN will be responsible for managing post‑operative nursing care, including cardiac monitoring, patient assessments, and supporting advanced cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for cardiac procedure patients on an 18‑bed interventional care unit.
• Manage post‑operative nursing care, including cardiac monitoring, patient assessments, and supporting advanced cardiac procedures.
• Maintain proficiency in telemetry and perform bedside shift reports and handoffs.
• Establish personal connections with patients and contribute to a Unit of Distinction recognized as a STEMI hospital and stroke center.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia (VA) RN license or Compact license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience, preferably in cardiac care.
• Proficiency in telemetry and ability to perform advanced cardiac procedures.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
