Travel Cardiac Telemetry RN - $2,074 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a contract position in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

About the Role

This is a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:30 or 19:00 - 07:30). The role is designed to support healthcare professionals with opportunities that meet today’s workforce needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care for cardiac patients, including post heart caths, CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, and pacer management
• Read and interpret EKG strips
• Administer and titrate Heparin, Lasix, or Bumex as needed (no other drips such as Cardizem & Amiodarone)
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges
• Support patient monitoring and equipment management, including Bipap and Cpap support when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth unit operations and patient care flow

Requirements

• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to read strips and work with patients with post heart caths, CHF, COPD, arrhythmias, and post pacers (no external pacers)
• Experience reading strips and comfort with the patient types on the unit
• Must be able to titrate Heparin

Pay

Pay range: $2,194.96 - $2,304.71 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation). Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
