Travel Cardiac Telemetry RN - $2,046 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our cardiac unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor, providing care for patients with various cardiac conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac telemetry monitoring and nursing care for patients in a stepdown unit.
• Manage cardiac drips and perform sheath removals as necessary.
• Carry out assessments, intervene for dysrhythmias, and manage post-myocardial infarction and pre/post cardiac catheterization patients.
• Work collaboratively within the interdisciplinary team to facilitate optimal patient care.
• Participate in orientation and staff development activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Experience with arterial line management and charge nurse responsibilities is a plus.

Benefits

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This is a night shift position, working 36 hours per week on a 3x12 hour schedule (18:45 - 07:15).
