Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Oncology patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:5–6 under night shift conditions
• Accurately document all patient care activities and assessments using EPIC electronic health records
• Float within service line to meet facility staffing needs as required
• Fulfill weekend shift requirements, which may include Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday rotations every other weekend

Requirements

• Active RN license (Missouri or applicable compact license); pending Missouri license submissions accepted
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Medical/Surgical or Oncology
• Current BLS (BCLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Fire Safety certification required
• Demonstrated experience with EPIC electronic health records system
• Preferred Experience / Skills: Experience working in an acute care hospital environment, familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting, ACLS certification (required prior to compliance deadline for this location)

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
