Travel Cardiac Step-Down RN - $2,338 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac Stepdown assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. The assignment lasts approximately 24.14 weeks and is scheduled to start on August 26, 2026.

Requirements

• Current RN license (eligibility for licensure in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri)
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association only
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Cardiac Stepdown experience
• Ability to stand and walk most of the shift; meet unit‑specific physical demands (bending, stooping, lifting, turning patients with assistance)
• High‑risk exposure to blood and body fluids
• Flu vaccination or Mercy‑approved exemption required for travelers from November 1 through April 1
• Available for the full week of orientation (night shift orients on day shift)

Qualifications

• Preferred: NIHSS certification

• Must have skills/experience in Cardiac Stepdown, inpatient only

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on GSA rates; actual pay may vary. Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
