Travel Cardiac Step-Down RN - $2,103 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Cardiac Stepdown assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.

About the Role

This travel nursing assignment lasts 24 weeks, starting on July 20, 2026. The position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a Cardiac Stepdown unit (inpatient only).
• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Perform unit-specific physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to promote a positive culture.

Requirements

• Current RN license (eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri).
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Stepdown (inpatient only).
• Flu vaccination or Mercy-approved exemption required for assignments between November 1 and April 1.
• Availability for a full week of orientation (night shift orients on day shift).

Preferred Qualifications

• NIHSS certification.

Skills

• Experience in Cardiac Stepdown (inpatient only).
• High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems for eligible clinicians based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual weekly pay and per diems may differ and are subject to change during an assignment.
