Travel Cardiac Sonographer - $2,345 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Technician) for a 13‑week assignment in Newton, Massachusetts, starting November 1, 2026. The position involves 40 hours per week on 10‑hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of supervising physicians in the Non‑Invasive Cardiology Lab, prepare patients for examination.
• Perform all 2‑dimensional echo, M‑mode, and Doppler studies.
• Prepare preliminary interpretations of the studies.
• Prepare and maintain records of echo studies.
• Assist supervising physicians with training of residents, fellows, faculty, and other physicians.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac technology.
• Successful completion of an accredited training course in cardiac ultrasound.
• Successful completion of a cardiac echocardiography technology program (graduate of a cardiac echocardiography technology program).
• Interpretation skills to facilitate a comprehensive examination and an accurate preliminary interpretation.

Skills

• Knowledge of multiple echocardiography platforms and technology.
• Ability to read, interpret, apply, and follow physicians’ orders, policies, procedures, and written or verbal instructions.
